Lucie Freiberg is a Czech choral professional, conductor and vocal coach whose artistic career combines opera performance, voice education, choral leadership and international festival work. She began her professional career at the Opera House in Liberec, where she appeared in solo operatic roles, and later gained further experience at the National Theatre in Prague.
Her music studies led her abroad to Australia and the United States. At Oakland University, USA, she studied conducting and voice, while collaborating with renowned musicians and performing in opera productions and vocal ensembles.
After returning to the Czech Republic in 2006, Lucie focused on vocal training, choral education and performance practice. She has led workshops and masterclasses at Bohemia Cantat, collaborated with the Prague-based civic association Voicecamp, and was invited to lecture and lead workshops at chor.com, the international conference and trade fair for choral directors and music educators in Hannover, Germany.
Lucie has served as an adjudicator at vocal and choral competitions, including Choralia.cz, the Musica Orbis Prague Festival and an international choral and orchestral competition in Italy. She is also frequently invited as a vocal consultant for choirs, bringing together strong vocal technique with practical experience in ensemble singing, performance preparation and musical expression.
She is the founder and conductor of the mixed choir Lucky Voice Band, which has won numerous awards at international competitions under her leadership. In addition to her choral work, she collaborates as a conductor with the Smíchov Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra.
